Objects of Time. Curated Boldly
Editor’s Selection:
A very interesting Rolex Datejust ref. 1601 from 1967, featuring a rare Singer prototype dial. The grey dial gives the watch a subtle yet distinctive vintage presence, standing apart from standard production models. These experimental Singer designs offer a glimpse into Rolex’s creative process—pushing boundaries at the time, even if some concepts were considered too bold for the market. Pieces like this remind you of the rich history behind Rolex, from experimental dials to iconic developments like the Paul Newman Daytona, making this example not just a watch, but a reflection of a fascinating era in design.
Case & Bracelet:
The stainless steel case has been lightly polished in the past. The case is thick and sharp. The jubilee bracelet shows light stretch and some spotting, the code dates it to 1971.
Dial & Hands:
The dial is in good original condition, there is a vertical scratch at 9 oclock, only visible on some angles. The hands are in great condition, with a nice toned lume.
Guarantee & returns:
This watch has been serviced and includes a 1-year mechanical guarantee. Returns are accepted within 48 hours of delivery, provided the watch is returned in the same condition.
A super special Universal Genève Tank in solid 18K yellow gold. Featuring a long, substantial case with strong wrist presence, paired with a striking deep blue patterned dial that contrasts beautifully against the warm gold.
This configuration is particularly rare, combining an elongated case with a textured “vibrating” dial. A very interesting Tank from one of my favorite brands—and definitely a conversation starter.
Case & Bracelet:
The 18K yellow gold case appears to be lightly polished, with deep hallmarks and a nicely stepped profile. It is fitted with a beautiful brown lizard strap.
Dial & Hands:
The blue patterned dial is in great condition, showing no wear or damage. The white hands are in perfect condition.
Guarantee & Returns:
This watch has not been serviced but is keeping great time. A 48-hour inspection period is provided for returns; the watch must be returned in the same condition in which it was sent.
Killer mid-week Rolex Day-Date from 1985. A stunning blue dial that contrasts perfectly with the yellow gold case—sharp and full of presence. The matte blue dial features applied small Roman gold numerals, giving it a refined, elegant look while keeping a playful edge.
Case & bracelet:
The 18K yellow gold case is extremely sharp. Appears to be unpolished. It is fitted on a brown lizard strap.
Dial & hands:
The blue dial is in great condition showing no visible stains or damage. The hands are in perfect condition.
Guarantee & returns:
This watch has not been serviced but is running perfectly. Returns are accepted 48 hours after shipment.
