A special Cartier Santos Dumont ref. 1575-1 from the 1990s, crafted in platinum. Housed in an ultra-thin case and powered by the Cal. 21, this example is presented in stellar condition. While the Santos Dumont is one of the Maison's most historically significant wristwatches, platinum examples are exceptionally rare, making this a particularly desirable reference for collectors.

The 27 × 36mm platinum case is in excellent condition, showing light signs of previous polishing while retaining deep, well-defined hallmarks throughout. The movement was serviced by Cartier in 2025. As part of the restoration, Cartier fitted a new dial and handset, as the original dial was peeling and the hands show rust. The watch is further accompanied by a new 18K white gold deployant clasp and a black crocodile leather strap supplied during the service. The caseback displays two small dents near the center, visible upon close inspection. The original Cartier service invoice and accompanying service papers documenting the work performed are included.
