A killer chronograph from one of the finest tool watch manufacturers of the era. Enicar established itself as a leader in practical, purpose-built designs, producing some of the most compelling single-crown and dual-crown Super Compressors and chronographs of the period.
This example features a highly attractive grey dial that plays beautifully with the light. The syringe hands complement the design perfectly, giving the watch a distinctive and engaging appearance. Powering it is the venerable Valjoux 72, one of the most respected chronograph movements ever produced, famously found in Heuer chronographs, Rolex Daytonas, and many other iconic watches of the era.
Condition & Specifications:
The stainless steel case is in spectacular, unpolished condition with only very minor signs of wear. The dial remains clean overall, while the tritium lume has aged to a beautiful pumpkin tone. There is a small amount of oxidation visible in the lume on the hour hand. The movement is running accurately on the timegrapher, although its previous service history is unknown. A 48-hour inspection period is provided, and returns are accepted during that time.
