Omega Constellation Ref. 168017 from 1966
An iconic Omega Constellation “C-Shape,” designed by the master Gérald Genta in 1964. The curved shape of the case makes it a pleasure to wear, while the integrated brick bracelet gives it an elegant yet versatile presence on the wrist. I’ve had the pleasure of handling these in solid gold, gold-plated, and stainless steel, but the steel version remains my favorite by far. Powered by the excellent Cal. 564 with quickset date adjustment, it’s also a very practical watch for regular wear. For someone considering a vintage Datejust, the C-Shape is a fantastic alternative—distinctive design, excellent construction, and plenty of character, all at a much more approachable price point.
Condition & Specifications:
The 35mm stainless steel case is unpolished, showing very minor wear. The smooth bezel remains crisp, and the silver dial is in excellent condition, showing no damage or visible wear. It retains its original signed crystal with a cyclops over the date. The brick bracelet is in great condition, remains unpolished, and fits up to a 7.5-inch wrist. The watch has not been serviced but is running accurately on the timegrapher. A 48-hour inspection period is provided upon receipt.
