A super nice Day-Date from 1971 with a killer blue satin dial and minute track. It’s a combination that’s hard to find and, honestly, one of the better-looking four-digit Day-Dates we’ve had the pleasure of handling. Now available!
Condition & Specifications:
The 36mm 18K yellow gold case remains in honest, unpolished, and untouched condition. The fluted bezel is exceptionally sharp and well defined. There is a small bite at approximately 8 o’clock on the back of the lug. The blue satin dial is in great condition, with no visible damage. The minute hand has lost a small amount of lume, while the lume plots at approximately 7 and 11 o’clock have naturally aged to a darker tone. The watch is currently running accurately, although its service history is unknown. A 48-hour inspection period is provided upon receipt.
