Hamilton Fontainebleau Circa 1969
In 1969, Hamilton released this model as part of a groundbreaking collaboration with Buren, Heuer, Dubois-Depraz, and Breitling. After four years of development, the team introduced the innovative Caliber 11—one of the first automatic chronograph movements ever produced.
Adding to the charm is Hamilton’s bold and playful case design. Powered by the Cal. 11, the crown is uniquely positioned at 9 o’clock instead of the usual 3, giving the already wide case an extra dose of character. The silver vertical sunburst dial is clean and understated, featuring two contrasting black registers and complemented by crisp outer hour markers.
This example has been recently serviced and is running to spec. Now available!
Case & Bracelet
The stainless steel case is in excellent condition, showing no previous polishing. It is fitted with a 22mm generic leather strap and buckle.
Dial & Hands
The silver sunburst dial is in good condition, some specs and minor scratches can be seen on some angles. The hands are in perfect condition.
