Rolex Air-King Circa 1988

$4,500.00
Sold Out

A solid Oyster-cased Air-King — this model was created by Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf during World War II. It honored RAF pilots who preferred Rolex watches for their reliability in flight. This one is from the late 1980s and features a subtle grey dial; together with the Oyster bracelet, it doesn’t overtly scream Rolex. It’s powered by an automatic self-winding movement: Cal. 1530.

Case and Bracelet:
The stainless steel case is in super sharp condition, featuring thick lugs, the 12 link oyster bracelet is in perfect condition with no wear or stretch. Clasp code dates to 1988.

Dial & Hands:
The dial has a nice, even tone across the surface. The hour markers and hands show no signs of aging.
