A killer Rolex Datejust from 1973 featuring a very attractive satin blue sigma dial. Being a ref. 1603, it comes with the steel engine-turned bezel — subtler and sportier than its white gold sibling. The shade of blue is unmistakably four-digit Rolex, a tone you simply won’t find on later iterations. Now available!
Condition report:
The stainless steel case is sharp and even, showing light previous polishing. The bracelet is in great condition with minor stretch and wear. The dial is in great condition overall, with very subtle spotting visible under certain angles, which is normal for blue dials of this era. The white gold hands and hour markers are in great condition.
This watch has not undergone recent service but is running perfectly on the timegrapher at +/- 5 seconds per day with 240 amplitude.
