Superb Rolex GMT-Master from the late 1970s.
A classic iteration showcasing vibrant and highly attractive tones. One of the joys of vintage Rolex is that no two watches age the same way. The bezel insert on this piece has aged beautifully, retaining a deep dark blue tone while showing more pronounced aging on the red portion.
The stainless steel case has been previously polished. The bracelet shows stretch and features a 1972 clasp code.
The black matte dial is in great condition, with no visible scratches or marks on the surface. Under magnification, the hour markers show subtle bubbling at 2 and 10 o’clock. The hands and hour markers have aged to a beautiful cream tone.
