Tudor Submariner Ref. 94110 Circa 1981
An iconic Tudor Submariner from 1981, known to collectors and enthusiasts as the Snowflake due to its distinctive hands and hour markers. Snowflakes have gained a strong following over the years, partly because some were issued to the French Navy (Marine Nationale) and the U.S. Navy, proving their ruggedness and readiness for action. It’s a solidly built Submariner, just with a cooler and more distinctive layout.
This example is in great condition, showing a light cream tone on the hands and hour markers. The lightly faded insert gives it a killer look. Now available!
Specifications & Condition:
The 40mm stainless steel case is in great condition, showing previous polishing but retaining sharp lugs and a thick profile. It is paired with a Phoenix NATO strap. The black dial is in great condition, with a clean matte surface free of visible imperfections. The lume has aged evenly to a light cream tone, and the hands are in great condition. This watch is running accurately, though the service history is unknown.
Notes:
I was just talking with my brother about how a Snowflake always seems to grab your attention more than a classic Rolex Submariner. There’s something a little more daring about the Tudor—more rugged, with a bit more character, at least in my eyes.
